Abstract

An overview and characteristics of personal competencies in the professional activities of an accountant is presented. Their influence on the effectiveness and efficiency of activities of both the accountant himself and the enterprise as a whole has been determined. The role of the use of flexible accountant skills, which in turn have a significant impact on the relationships between company employees, has been identified. The advantages of successful career advancement of an accountant thanks to soft skills are considered.
