Abstract
This paper explores good practices in socio-educational action for neglected children by examining the obstacles and advantages faced by 78 professionals from three Basque Country neighborhoods. Using a communicative-oriented qualitative method, including sixteen in-depth interviews and nine discussion groups, the study identifies good practices prioritizing the welfare of children and their families through coordinated, multifaceted approaches. Despite a clear commitment to coordinated work, challenges involving professional ethics, culture, and working conditions persist. The study also proposes improvements related to task organization, system flexibility, and professional training to enhance socio-educational actions.
