Abstract

This article reveals the relevance of researching the information security problem and considers the essence of the socio-psychological approach to its understanding. This type of security is associated with a model for the information society development. Therefore, it is no coincidence that the most important task is to create a full-fledged information security theory. The article analyzes external and internal threats to information security. These include hacker attacks, break-ins, cyber interference, invasion of the national information system, cybercrime threats, information and psychological warfare, etc. In addition, the practice of overcoming these threats in order to ensure information security is analyzed. Without this, it is impossible to speak about the effective information security provision. This is achievable only by eliminating a number of negative consequences of the process of society informatization.
