Abstract
Self-report data are useful in the assessment of medical aspect of chronic pain. There has been researched that social desirability response bias affects in self-report of psychological distress and pain intensity. However, the interrelationships of these variables have not been studied in people with lung cancer. The study aim was to examine relationships between social desirability response biases and self-report of depression, anxiety, pain intensity and pain quality in lung cancer outpatients.
