Abstract
Youssef's syndrome is a rare complication commonly secondary to lower segment caesarean section. It consists of a vesicouterine fistula situated above the isthmus of the uterus. Its symptomatology is analysed, which includes the classical triad of caesarean section, amenorrhoea and cyclic haematuria or menurias in the absence of urinary incontinence, together with its diagnosis and treatment, usually surgical, with excision of its fistulous tract and interposition of an omental pedicle.
