Smith is a manufacturer of electric motors and water heating equipment serving residential, commercial and industrial end markets primarily in the U.S. The Electric Products segment manufactures hermetic motors, fractional horsepower alternating current and direct current motors, and integral horsepower motors. The Water Systems segment manufactures and markets a line of residential gas and electric water heaters, standard and specialty commercial water heating equipment, copper‐tube boilers, and water systems tanks. Co. operates manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, England, Ireland, Hungary, the Netherlands and China.
