Abstract
The challenge of our contribution has two dimensions: social and technological. The aim of this research is to solve a serious problem that is assessing the air quality in cities and traffic management according to the air quality indices. Our project will bring the locals in participatory situation and actors for the improvement of air quality through the urban traffic management, in order to inform and sensitize people to the air pollution problem, We hear more and more talk about the Internet of Things (IoT), connected objects, or even connected world and intelligent home; new concepts that invade the world and enhance our lifestyle. IoT also called the third industrial revolution will profoundly change people’s lives with home automation, health and recreation, energy, distribution, and our environment with intelligent cities or transport connected. The collection of information remains a major challenge without the participation of a large group of people or partners. Crowdsourcing allows obtaining information due to a large group of people by the Internet. Urban Traffic Management remains a very complex problem. Millions of people use urban road networks daily and suffer from congestion. Our recent works are led to solve the traffic flow management problem in order to reduce the congestion, to improve the air quality, and enhance the urban supply chain.
