Abstract

In this paper, an approach has been presented for Smart Home Automation using the Internet of Things with Raspberry Pi. We divide this approach into four phases. firstly, we are doing integrating motion sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, and light sensors into a raspberry pi. in next phase, we have connected every major appliance (fridge, AC, Water Motor, geyser, etc.) with a Web server. And, the last phase we are providing door security using PiCam. For designing the system, we are using the Raspberry Pi module with a personal computer vision technique. The project presents a low cost and flexible home control and monitoring system, with IP connecting for accessing and controlling devices and appliances remotely.
