Abstract

Abstract The future of Personal Information Management depends on the Internet of things (IoT). Though the applications of IoT are diverse, the one that concerns the common man is how it can be used to make life easier and faster. This is where Personal Information Management using IoT comes into the picture. Interactive Smart Mirror represents the design and development of a futuristic system for the personal information management for commercial use in the organizations as well as individuals. This system collects personal information and preferences of a user and displays it to the user based on his / her requirements. Under the hood, this system is controlled by the Raspberry Pi module. Along with Raspberry Pi Module, this system utilizes peripheral devices like Microphone, Camera Module, Speakers and LCD Screen. The features of this system are user identification using face recognition, voice-controlled commands, Email messaging, Weather updates, current date and time and latest news updates.
