Abstract

The healthcare application is the most important system in daily life. With a drastic increase in the population, the number of accidents occurring has also increased. Therefore, the need for smart technology in the medical field has also increased. When an accident occurs, the delay in travel time creates an adverse situation for the patient, which may even cause death. The delay in travel time is due to traffic jams, road issues, the location of the patient, or the hospital. According to the National Highway Traffic Administration, every 60 seconds leads to a car accident, which is equal to 5.25 million accidents all over the nation in a year. By keeping this in mind, a project is proposed that will reduce the mortality rate and time delay caused by reaching the hospital. This project is related to technologies like big data and the Internet of Things for efficient database operation. This work helps in controlling the traffic lights when the ambulance reaches the pre-destined location, and also, the location of the ambulance is spotted by the driver. Additionally, the selection of a nearby hospital is made with the help of a place selector switch.
