Abstract
Colorectal Metastases Colorectal cancer, compared to other histologies, is more likely to present as disease isolated to the liver. The natural history of unresected solitary hepatic metastases from colorectal cancer was described by Wagner et al. where 39 patients with solitary metastases did not undergo therapy and the median survival was 24 months ( 3 ). Wood et al. described 15 patients with solitary hepatic metastases left untreated with a mean survival of 17 months ( 4 ).
