Abstract

The design of control is to respond converter system for a step change in reference demand and defining converter impedance behavior and anti-grid voltage disturbance capability to low frequency range of EV (Electric Vehicle) charging system to maintain acceptable converter performance. It is possible with a small signal modelling of converter. This paper presents small signal modelling of a DAB (Dual Active Bridge) converter with the DPS (Dual Phase Shift) control to determine performance deciding parameters. The frequency response of input and output impedances shows the performance of EV charging system during different grid and load disturbance conditions. In order to analyze anti-grid voltage disturbance capability, transfer function of audio susceptibility is presented.
