Abstract

We present the results for the small-angular mapping of the Faraday effect in single CdS crystals under the operation of light wave vector reversal. It is shown that within experimental accuracy, the magnitude of the optical Faraday rotation, averaged for the angle of laser beam divergence, does not differs for the opposite directions of the wave vector.
