Abstract
Abstract We have measured the p p forward elastic differential cross section between 413 and 715 MeV c . The real-to-imaginary ratio of the p p forward-scattering amplitude was determined, and was analyzed in terms of a forward dispersion relation. The data suggests that there should be significant contributions to the dispersion integral from the high-mass region of the unphysical cut. The data are also compared with the predictions of N N potential models.
