Abstract

Occasions arise when it is desirable to use a longer sweep on a high-speed cathode-ray oscillograph than that obtainable from normal-sweep circuits. The paper describes a circuit which employs the voltage change on a condenser during charging via a high resistance from the cathode voltage supply of the high-speed cathode-ray oscillograph. Practical circuit details and performance are discussed and examples of the results obtained with it are given.
