Abstract

The paper deals with the problems of windup and change in the direction of control in multi-input−multi-output processes with actuator constraints. A sliding mode control is proposed to solve these problems for the case of two-input−two-output proportional−integral-controlled systems. The control strategy is based on the conditioning of the filtered references vector through a discontinuous action.
