Critical QuarterlyVolume 38, Issue 2 p. 80-86 Slade FRANK RONAN, FRANK RONAN FRANK RONAN'S first novel, The Men Who Loved EueZyn Cotton, won the 1989 Irish Times/Aer Lingus Irish Literature Prize and was followed by A Picnic in Eden, The Better Angel, Dixie Chicken and the forthcoming novel, Lovely. His first collection of stories, Handsome Men Are Slightly Sunburnt, is published by Sceptre. He is also the editor of In My Garden, a collection of Christopher Lloyd's Country Life articles.
