Abstract

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are one of the most commonly used groups of drugs in ophthalmic pharmacotherapy. Numerous indications for the use of this group of drugs as well as the role of prostaglandins in the pathomechanism of the formation of eye diseases make this group of drugs still developing. The ophthalmologist has several NSAIDs available, which differ mainly in pharmacokinetic parameters. The choice of NSAIDs should be individualized to select the most effective and safest drug for a particular patient
