Abstract
Olsson, Mats: Skogsplantering pa marginaljord—miljo och ekonomi. Geografisk Tidsskrift 89:14–18. Kobenhavn 1989. The paper aims at dicussing forest production potential and impact of forest ecosystems on soil properties at afforestation of arable land. It is shown that forest ecosystems improve soils of arable land by increasing the organic contents, increasing the contents of plant available nutrients and by improving the soil structure.
