Abstract
Kata kunci: Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, TOPSIS, Tanaman PorangAbstract: A Decision Support System (DSS) is an information system designed to support decision-making in complex and unstructured situations. Amorphophallus oncophyllus (porang) has seen an increase in demand in the export market due to its numerous health benefits. However, research on selecting optimal land for porang cultivation remains limited. This study aims to develop a DSS to determine the most suitable land for porang cultivation using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to the Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The TOPSIS method's decision-making process involves several stages, including determining criteria weights, normalizing the decision matrix, identifying positive and negative ideal solutions, calculating the distance of each alternative from the ideal solutions, and ranking the other options. Research methods employed include literature review, field observation, and interviews with the Kudus District Agriculture Department and Porang farmers. The results show that the land in Gebog District is the best alternative for porang cultivation based on TOPSIS calculations with a preference value of 0.882. Blackbox testing of the system demonstrates that the developed DSS functions well and can provide accurate recommendations, serving as an effective tool for farmers in selecting the most suitable land for porang cultivation. Keywords: Amorphophallus oncophyllus, Decision Support System, TOPSIS
