Abstract

In the livestock industry, the health of cattle is crucial because diseases can lead to a decrease in production, animal deaths, and economic losses. The high incidence of these diseases is due to ignorance and lack of knowledge about them. Therefore, an expert system was developed to diagnose diseases in cattle. The method used in creating this expert system is forward chaining using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The result of this research is an expert system application for diagnosing diseases in cattle using forward chaining method, which can be accessed by the public, especially farmers and traders, to identify diseases in cattle, with the hope of improving the efficiency of diagnosis. This system can speed up the disease detection process, minimize human errors, and enable faster and more accurate decision-making by combining artificial intelligence with web technology.
