Abstract

For single-phase pulse width modulation (PWM) rectifier, there exist second-order ripple voltage on DC bus, and it results that the grid-connected current exist odd order harmonic. Generally, a bulk capacitor or filter installed in the DC link and low-pass filter in the controller is needed, which is not conductive to improving the power density and control performance. This paper proposed an novel control strategy based on active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) and proportional-resonant (PR) control to reduce the grid-connected harmonic current and enhance the ability of disturbance rejection. Simulation is provided for verification purposes.
