Abstract
A group of 56 patients with depressive illnesses were administered either a single daily dose or a divided daily dose of trimipramine on a random basis. Results of the treatment showed several advantages for the use of a single daily dose: a trend toward better therapeutic improvement, a significant decrease in the side effects of insomnia and fatigue, and more regular consumption of the medication.
