Abstract

It's 10pm and Ashlyn Volz is doing her homework, the youngest of her three kids asleep on her lap. She's in a master's degree program for social work, and hopes to use her degree in therapeutic work with fostered and adopted kids. Right now, she's a licensing specialist in foster care, working with families as they prepare to foster children.
