Abstract

This article takes the sizing 195/65R15 as an example and establishes a 3D tire FE model with tread pattern to simulate the tire steady state rolling. The contact footprint and pressure between tire and road are analyzed with the static loads. The vibration accelerations of nodes were extracted from tire surface, which can be transferred into acoustic boundary conditions to calculate the tire noise. The four different wear state tires are simulated to analyze tire wear noise characteristics. Finally, the correctness of the simulation results is verified through the tire noise testing experiment.
