Abstract

Aim of this study is to explore a method of simulating vehicle radiated interference based on 3D FDTD (Three-Dimensional Finite-Difference Time-Domain) model, which is better suitable for the situation that the full band spectrum needs to be solved. In this study, the model of motor drive system is established by Simulink tool and the current waveform of its power cable is extracted as the interference source. Combined with the field circuit coupling, the electric vehicle and cable model are established in the three-dimensional 3D FDTD model. The time domain results of the radiation field in the simulation space are obtained. Through Fourier transform, the full frequency spectrum can be obtained. Under the same conditions, the solution of 0-100MHZ in CST is obtained to verify its reliability and superiority. The results show that FDTD algorithm is more efficient than traditional commercial software. Its model modification is more flexible and the requirements for computer configuration are not strict.
