Abstract

In this paper, the design platform was the PSIM and Matlab/simulink co-simulation system which fully utilized the capacity of PSIM in power simulation and the capacity of Matlab/Simulink simulation in the control, to design a simulation model for brushless DC motor speed control system. The drive system model of brushless motor has been created in PSIM software platform; a brushless motor speed control system simulation model has been established in Matlab/Simulink simulation software platform. The control system was composed with speed control module, a current regulator module, and PWM generator module. The governor system used fuzzy PID and double-loop control strategy. Simulation results showed that this simulation method and control strategy could accurately reflect the brushless motor speed control performance.
