Abstract

This paper presents a new algorithm for computing sensitivity information of nonuniform multiconductor transmission lines with respect to arbitrary physical parameters. The proposed algorithm provides sensitivity information through a reduced-order system that has a simple representation in the time-domain. This feature enables computing sensitivity in the presence of nonlinear terminations. The proposed algorithm is based on the concept of passive model-order reduction using integrated congruence transform. It also addresses the problem of sensitivity analysis for nonuniform multiconductor transmission lines without having to resort to any discretization techniques
