Abstract

In this paper, the finite element simulation software ANSYS Maxwell is used to model and simulate the single coupling coil, the coupling coil with magnetic core and the coupling coil with electromagnetic shielding. The static magnetic field and eddy current field solvers are used to solve the self-inductance, mutual inductance, coupling coefficient, equivalent resistance and efficiency of the model respectively. The variation laws of mutual inductance and coupling coefficient with coupling coil's longitudinal and lateral offset are obtained by simulation. The effects of magnetic core and aluminum plate with different thickness on the self-inductance, mutual inductance, coupling coefficient, magnetic induction intensity, magnetic field distribution and anti-offset ability of the coupling mechanism are analyzed. The optimization design is carried out in the aspects of magnetic core and aluminum plate thickness, load resistance and coupling coefficient. Finally, the feasibility of optimizing parameters is verified by joint simulation with Simplorer software.
