Abstract

Simulations of H-beta filter based on thin films is proposed and demonstrated in this paper. The -beta filter is optical thin film pass band filter of having the wavelength of 486.13nm.H-beta filter is used to reduce the transmittance of H-beta wave. This H-beta filter is used in Aditya Tokamak which is a plasma reactor. when the plasma ring in the plasma breaks and releases ionized gases. H-beta is one of them. In order to reduce the transmittance of the H-beta wave this filter is used in the reactor. The H-beta filter consists of thin films on the substrate. The thin films are the substance having the optical properties. The thin film consists of low and high refractive index. The simulation of the H-beta filter program was done by using matlab.
