Abstract

Under the public awareness of global climate change, fossil resource depletion, environmental pollution and energy structure, countries have actively promoted clean and sustainable energy system. The integrated energy system (IES), which includes energy conversion and storage, is able to balance uncertain renewable energy, and demonstrate a significant improvement on low-carbon emission, compared to traditional energy system. However, the development of IES demands sufficient modeling, simulation and technical support. In this paper, an IES is modeled, simulated and analyzed with different operation conditions by CloudPSS-IESLab, a general IES design platform with steady-state multi-energy flow solver. Then capacity configurations of photovoltaic and battery are investigated. The potential integrated energy system solutions are analyzed and compared using CloudPSS-IESLab and the feasibility are validated.
