Abstract
Electro-Hydraulic Proportional Servo Valve (EHPSV) is one of the essential components of airborne hydraulic system. When the EHPSV is used for a period of time, there will be a certain degree of erosion wear at the valve port. This wear will change the precise structure of the valve port, cause the flow leakage, and then affect the accuracy of control. This paper establishes the motion model of oil and particles in the spool valve, simulates the erosion at the valve port with Fluent, and explore the main influence factors such as pressure, the port opening size, the particle, and the structure of port on the erosion of the valve port, and the adverse effect of erosion at the valve port on the performance of the valve, which is helpful to provide guidance for exploring the failure process and control of the EHPSV.
