Abstract

In order to study the impacts of the length and diameter of the electric explosive wire on the breaking current characteristics of the electric explosive wire breaker, the physical model of the electric explosive wire breaker is analyzed theoretically, the calculation method of the relevant design parameters is deduced, the simulation model based on the time-varying resistance is established, and the breaking time, the breaking current and the breaking effect are analyzed etc. The results show that the model is in good agreement with the experimental results, and can obtain the general rule of current cut-off of electric explosive breaker accurately, conveniently and intuitively, which provides a reference for the design of electric explosive wire breaker parameters.
