Abstract
Both a point of view of the nervous system as a collection ofcomputation units and a method for digital computer simulation of such networks are discussed in this paper. Some arguments intending to show the advantages of layered parallel collections of cells which share the information entering the system are given. A simple example is used to clarify the simulation technique.
