Abstract
In chemical engineering one often encounters fluids with complicated structure ,example suspension, solution by high polymers etc. It seems that these fluids can be described appropriately by the theory of polar fluids in fluid flow, couple stresses are observed in addition to the usual linear stresses. The paper is concerned with the problem of steady flow of a viscous incompressible polar fluid embedded in a polar medium .The boundary layer equations such as momentum and angular momentum are numerically solved by using Maple -14.The effect of the permeability parameter on velocity and angular velocity distributions are discussed.
