Abstract
Silk Fibers Silk has emerged as a versatile biomaterial for regenerative medicine. In article 2203237, Christine Radtke and co-workers use a silk-based nerve conduit filled with spider silk fibers to treat a rat sciatic nerve defect. The silk-in-silk conduit achieves a similar regenerative performance as the current gold standard, the autograft, and represents a promising approach for nerve reconstruction.
