Abstract
A model-based solution technology combining transmission-line, parallel-plate field, and circuit solvers has been providing fast and accurate solutions for planar circuit and package layout signal analysis for over two decades. In keeping the technology's edge over full 3D-EM simulation, continuous improvements to the model accuracy and solution efficiency using machine learning and multi-processor parallelization techniques have been made. Sample results are presented in this paper.
