Abstract

oscillatory activity, signifies the functional coupling of distributed brain regions involved in reward processing. Also, this provides support for the notion that two dissociable neural networks can be delineated for the processing of gains and losses (Yacubian et al., 2006). Based on the result that there was no effect of outcome probability on the thetaand beta-oscillations accordingly suggests that these oscillatory activities also may reflect an evaluation of outcomes on a shorter time scale in the learning process.
