Introduction

Mixed cryoglobulinemia (MC) is a complex disorder with a broad spectrum of clinical manifestations. We know that MC is associated with clinical situations that generate large amounts of IgG and immune complexes, including chronic autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjögren’s syndrome [4] or infections such as HCV and HIV infections.
