Abstract

China has experienced a sudden epidemic in 2020. With the loss of time and the continuous efforts and struggle of all sectors of society, the epidemic situation in China has gradually improved, but it is still inevitable that there will be a small-scale outbreak. In view of the above situation, it is collectively referred to as the post epidemic era. This paper aims to analyze the development direction and significance of Internet plus network teaching in effective foreign language teaching in the post epidemic era. Through the statistics of teachers in the foreign language and teacher development center of our university, we can see that the mixed teaching mode of "Online + offline" has the most support rate for teachers, and the students' academic performance is relatively faster at this time. The "Online + offline" teaching mode can also avoid the transmission risk caused by the epidemic to a certain extent.
