Abstract

This study aims at revealing Ibn Jini linguistic approach in signfer-signfied relationship by studying his book AlKhasa'is and defining the roots of his thoughts that former Arab and human researchers studied of Ibn Jini. Also, the studies of other researchers whom followed him in order to reveal the status of those thoughts of the modern linguistic subjects. The study concludes that: Ibn jinni has no priority in finding out the relationship between signfer and signfied rather than expanding in the subject itself. Modern Arab researchers deny Ibn Jini layouts about this relationship. Researchers' denial derives from thoughts and theories of modern linguistic about signfer and signfied.
