Abstract

This paper presents an investigation on the occurrence of non-thermal phase transition in the target fragmentation of 12C–AgBr interactions at 4.5 A GeV. This analysis is performed considering the anisotropy of (cos θ - ϕ) phase space. An indication of non-thermal phase transition is obtained where the anisotropic scaling behavior (self affinity) of dynamical fluctuations is best revealed.
