Abstract

This paper reports the first evidence of non-thermal phasetransition in the target fragmentation of28Si-AgBr interactions at 14.5 AGeV.Factorial moment analysis has been performed in two dimensionstaking into consideration the anisotropicity of the phase space.A signal of non-thermal phase transition is obtained by carryingout the investigation at that partitioning of phase space wherethe anisotropic scaling (self-affinity) behavior of dynamicalfluctuation is best revealed. A signal of multifractality is alsoobserved from the knowledge of anomalous fractal dimension dqextracted from the intermittency exponent αq at theanisotropic phase space scenario.
