Abstract

The improved automation iu machine tool systems requires automatic fault diagnosis systems. One important task of supervision systems is the detectiou of oscillations in the machining process. The analysis ot the amplitudes of different oscillation modes gives information about the amount of the workpiece inaccuracy.The development of ARMA type sigual models, excited by a single pulse is proposed for frequencies and amplitudes, The identification of the sigual model parameters with measured griuding data is shown. The application ot the method on a series of machined workpieces shows the performance of the algorithm.
