Abstract
In this paper an electronic simulation system for laser Doppler velocimetry (LDV) is presented. This simulation system provides a light beam with an intensity that varies with time, as the scattered intensity does in a differential LDV experiment, where a laser whose Gaussian profile intensity has been turned into a uniform intensity profile is used. Several experiments with the simulation system are presented to illustrate its applications.
