Abstract

Ephraim McLean served as editor-in-chief for The DATA BASE for Advances in Information Systems for eight years. He served in this role with two different co-editors-in-chief, Detmar Straub and Mark Keil. As one of the founding members of the Association for Information Systems and a mainstay for the information systems discipline, Eph offers a historical view of the publication as well as his time as editor-in-chief from 1994-2001.
