Abstract
Abstract SICROMO 9M is a chromium-molybdenum, low-carbon alloy steel having good corrosion resistance and high temperature strength. It is recommended for still tubes and piping in oil refineries, heat exchanger and super-heater tubes when a greater degree of corrosion resistance is required than provided by Type 4-6 Cr-Mo steel and Sicromo 7. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SA-215.
