Abstract

With increasing numbers of renewable distributed generations (RDGs) and plug-in electric vehicles (EVs), new requirement of flexible regulation for distribution network has been arisen. As an important part of smart grid, active distribution network (ADN) is proposed to enhance clean energy utilization as well as maintain the network reliability. In this paper, s short-term scheduling of active management of distribution network integrated with EV battery swap stations (BSS) aiming at taking better advantage of renewable energy. In addition, a model is constructed to realize the benefits distribution operators. Then, a novel improved self-adaptive harmony search algorithm is proposed to solve the model. Finally, the proposed model is tested on the 32-node distribution network and proving that the coordination of ADN and BSS is beneficial for the utilization of renewable resources.
