Abstract

A short-term optimization model of multi-source power system including wind power units, photovoltaic units, nuclear power units, thermal units, and hydropower pumps is proposed. For power systems under high proportion of wind power and photovoltaic connection, the goal of model is to consume a large amount of new energies and improve the system economy., while the load tracking performance of the new generation of nuclear power units can be used under the condition of ensuring safety to alleviate the pressure of peak load regulation with high proportion of wind power and photovoltaic connection. Characterize the randomness, intermittentness and volatility of wind power and photovoltaic power units ; refine the peak load regulation of thermal power units into ordinary and deep mode, and refine their economic indicators. Calculations show that the model is feasible in calculating short-term optimization of multi-source power systems. It can improve wind power and photovoltaic absorption capacity and system economy. It has good application value for ensuring the consumption of clean energies and improve the economic of the power system.
