Abstract

The temperature dependences of the bulk shear wave velocity and that of surface Bleustein-Gulyaev wave are theoretically investigated near the phase transition 4̄3mFmm2 for some direction. It is shown that the bulk wave velocity in an infinite crystal changes near the phase transition slowly, meanwhile the surface wave velocity decreases to zero in paraelectric phase on the mechanically free and electrically shorted surface.
